02:03:38 <NoBiggie> hi there
02:13:05 <NoBiggie> Have a little question. What the best way would be to keep the order in a situation like...
02:13:15 <NoBiggie> There are 2 bank accounts and say there is a bank transfer from 1st to the 2nd. Later on transactions from both banks are imported as qif into Gnucash. When transactions are matched through the Account column there would be 2 transactions showing up for each account: one from its own history and the other one because it was matched in other account. How to keep just one? Is there an easy way...
02:13:16 <NoBiggie> ...without manual edits?
02:21:05 <NoBiggie> anyone? please? :-)

03:48:13 <zem> hi NoBiggie
03:48:25 <NoBiggie> hi zem
03:49:00 <zem> I had a similar problem a few days ago, I would suggest just to delete one transaction
03:49:42 <zem> next time when your account syncronizes it detects the other ne
03:50:23 <NoBiggie> that's what I do, delete them manually, but there are many of them..
03:53:24 <zem> NoBiggie: I wonder why your Import is not detecting this normally the Import matcher should find a Transaction from your first Bank account to the second one
03:54:50 <zem> ah, sorry now I register qif
03:56:05 <NoBiggie> What's the way to make the Import matcher work? I remember it was detecting before.. qif is a bad format?
03:57:08 <zem> I was using HBCI to syncronize my bank account
03:58:15 <zem> During the HBCI sync you get a transaction matcher
04:02:08 <zem> the transaction matcher looks for Transactions on your account and compare them with the Imported transactions
04:03:41 <zem> on a match it will show you what it will do when you press OK
04:04:26 <NoBiggie> will it leave only 1 of them then or ?
04:04:57 <zem> yes
04:05:21 <NoBiggie> Coud be that I was importing from 2 qifs all at once and there were no transactions in Gnucash yet
04:05:53 <zem> hat could be yes
04:07:34 <NoBiggie> I see, will try it on next import, thank you zem, much appreciated
04:17:59 <up_the_irons> warlord-afk: thanks for the info about not memorizing an invoice. i will not do so now

04:38:42 <whiskas> Hi
04:40:37 <whiskas> I've just installed gnucash 2.2.9, running on linux slackware 13.0, but find it very unstable. It crashes when I open and try to save the "Properties" dialogue (accessed by pressing 'alt+enter' in gnucash). Is this a known issue, or have I just gotten hold of a bad build? thanks
