10:09:47 <shade304> I would like to check profit on a job, I have entered the invoice for the customer, and the bills from the vendors with the default charge back project as the customer. How would I construct a report for this?
10:28:29 <warlord> Um.. Right now there is no report that computes it on a job by job or customer-by-customer basis.
11:00:03 <shade304> Is there a guide to creating your own custom reports, or is that beyond the reach of non programmer types?

11:08:06 <warlord> It requires scheme hacking, but you don't need to be a CS major to write it.
11:08:22 <warlord> scheme was designed to be relatively easy
11:13:06 <shade304> is there an example somewhere that I could learn from?
11:13:22 <shade304> I don't mind a little work

22:08:19 <hamlinux> I am attempting to compile 2.2.9 on a ubuntu 9.04 box. upon ./configure I am met with an error missing glib. Not in ubunto repos. cannot configure 2.9 tarball.
22:23:34 <hamlinux> Apparently I have 2.2.9 compiled on my ubuntu box, what command do I need to run gnucash. I ./confugured to /opt/gnucash.
