17:32:21 <jonsug> Hi, I've started using Gnucash (2.2.9 on Windows XP) for personal accounting and overall I like the product but the warnings do not appear to be working correctly for me. Every popup warning refuses to follow the instruction to not appear in the future regardless of what I select in the warning boxes. This makes the product very hard to use as every transaction I allocate to a different account insists on confirmation.

When I reopen preferences, the date/time remains set at locale as it originally was. I have also tried to chance the auto save time from 5 minutes to 1 minute - again when I reopen preferences, the autosave time remains set at 5 mins as it originally was.
