07:44:42 <edgy> hi, gnucash used to work properly. now I installed a new system and migrated the data but there seems a problem related to currency. I set my currency in preferences -> accounts/reports and when I enter a transaction it shows in my currency in the status bar but when I print it it shows in dollars!

08:54:51 <warlord> When you create an invoice it caches the Customer's Currency and will use that. If that currency doesn't match your Income account or A/R currency then you'll see what you're seeing now.

08:55:32 <warlord> 1) Check your locale currency
08:55:38 <warlord> 2) Check your Customer Currency setting
08:55:55 <warlord> 3) Check the Account currencies of your A/R and Income accounts
08:56:42 <warlord> 4) Unpost the invoice, then click on the "Edit Invoice" button, then click "Select Customer", then go through the select page and re-select the existing customer to get the invoice to update the currency.
08:56:46 <warlord> 5) Re-post the invoice.
