11:44:50 <Axel75> hello?
11:49:11 <Axel75> if anyones is here, i installed gnucash on osx 10.4 but get this error when i execute : /opt/local/share/gnucash/scm/date-utilities.scm:382:3: Unbound variable: map
11:54:44 <warlord> Axel75: This sounds like a guile-1.6 vs. guile-1.8 vs. slib issue.
11:55:05 <Axel75> i have 1.8, should i go ack to 1.6 ?
11:55:36 <warlord> I think you might need to. See the wiki.
11:55:42 <Axel75> ok thx

16:03:11 <cstim> Is the src/import-export/qif/qif-parse.c file and that whole directory actually in use? If it's not, then those dubious translation strings pointed out by Clytie should have their translation mark removed for now.

16:50:24 <cstim> very cool. Once I have all SVN branches available in one local git, back-porting is just a matter of right-click in gitk and choosing "cherry-pick this commit"... hehe.
16:51:17 <cstim> oh, sorry, I dcommit'ed too quick - in r16707 I forgot to mention this is r16703 of trunk. sorry for that.

22:50:54 <localhost> For the debit formula of a SX, is there a way to provide a default value? For example: I usually have $256 to fed taxes in a SX, but occasionally it may be more or less. When the SX comes up I want it to ask for Fed Tax, but have the default value of $256 filled in. Any way to do this?
22:51:31 <warlord> i dont think so

23:22:36 <andrewsw> hiya folks!
23:23:01 <warlord> @tell andi5 did you run "make distcheck" to build 2.2.2? I doubt it, because the tests are failing for me.
23:23:02 <gncbot> warlord: The operation succeeded.
23:26:30 <warlord> andrewsw: you're working from the 2.2 branch?
23:39:02 <andrewsw> warlord: sorry, in another workspace. No, I'm working from trunk. Did I do something wrong?
23:39:15 <warlord> nope, was just gonna ask you to test something.
23:39:18 <warlord> never mind.
23:40:00 <andrewsw> sorry. I need to re-checkout so I have the 2.2 branch locally, so I'd be happy to do it.
23:40:14 <warlord> Just want to know if 'make check' passes in 2.2
23:40:35 <andrewsw> well, I'll start it in the background and if you're still around, I'll let you know ;)
23:40:41 <warlord> Okay
23:41:18 <andrewsw> do you know off-hand what revision is 2.2.2?
23:41:39 <warlord> probably the head of branches/2.2
23:41:48 <warlord> Okay, "book closing" dialog commited.
23:42:05 <andrewsw> sweet! that'll make a lot of people happy!
23:42:14 <warlord> Well, it's only in trunk
23:42:22 <warlord> and all it does is zero-ize the income and expenses.
23:43:47 <andrewsw> still, that's a damn sight better than a lot of the hacks people use...
23:45:00 <warlord> True.
23:45:12 <warlord> It has a fencepost error on the closing day, however..
23:46:56 <andrewsw> ? what's a fecepost error?
23:48:52 <andrewsw> nm. wikipedia to the rescue.
23:49:01 <warlord> fixed.
23:50:57 <andrewsw> I swear, having been out of coding for so long, I'll never catch up on terminology... I feel like an old man yelling at kids to get off my lawn.
23:51:23 <warlord> hahaha
23:52:04 <wharp> Just out of curiosity, do ya'll code for a living and do gnucash in your spare time?
23:52:56 <warlord> yep
23:53:10 <andrewsw> nope.
23:53:20 * andrewsw is so funny...
23:53:27 <wharp> lol
23:53:58 <andrewsw> hey warlord that's real nice: how to add a new dialog/function all in one commit. That's one to put in the textbook.
23:54:16 <warlord> :-D
23:55:07 <andrewsw> so what's up for the holiday? going home?
23:55:22 <warlord> Define "home"
23:56:01 <andrewsw> hmmm...
23:56:13 <andrewsw> !your_apartment
23:56:14 <andrewsw> ?
23:56:43 <andrewsw> I seem to think your folks/family are not in your area.
23:56:56 <warlord> True. I wont be home until March or April
23:57:08 <warlord> I'm snow-birding in SoFL
23:57:25 <andrewsw> ah. sweet!
23:57:34 <andrewsw> currently there?
23:58:19 <warlord> Yeah, at my sister's place with mom watching the nephews.
23:58:58 <andrewsw> oh cool. My sister is in town, trying to convince her to watch her nieces... won't happen :(
23:59:44 <warlord> hehe
23:59:50 <warlord> My nephews are 3 and 1
