00:57:38 *** Wilddev changes topic to "Welcome! Don't meta-ask, just ask and *wait*. 2.1.2 released. <http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ>. Channel is *publically-logged* <http://lists.gnucash.org/logs/>."
00:58:18 <warlord> Wilddev: FYI, I dont think you really need to full email announcement in the website NEWS file.
00:59:31 <Wilddev> warlord: um, mind clarifying that a bit, is a little confusing?

01:01:02 <warlord> Umm.. I suppose I can try.
01:01:40 <Wilddev> u dont want me to email an announcement?
01:01:59 <warlord> When you create the new news snippet update for the website for the new release I dont think you need the full email announcement; I think it's better to just have a snippet of the email announcement.
01:02:15 <Wilddev> oh
01:02:57 <Wilddev> hmmm, the impression I got from cstim was that he was writing all that on the wiki to be mainly the website announcement
01:03:11 <Wilddev> perhaps that was worng
01:03:14 <warlord> I dont think so -- I thought it was for the email annoucenment.
01:03:15 <Wilddev> wrong
01:03:41 <Wilddev> yeah it would be a lot easier just to include the main changes
01:04:47 <Wilddev> warlord: if I just do it till the end of what's new would that work?
01:05:21 <warlord> I think you can cut out a bunch of stuff before that, too.
01:05:35 <Wilddev> such as?
01:06:00 <warlord> Maybe put a link to the email announcement.
01:06:21 <warlord> But yeah, cutting there would be better.
01:06:36 <Wilddev> ok let me commit that
01:08:20 <Wilddev> I think just cut out the warning now
01:08:25 <Wilddev> and the rest is good
01:09:08 <Wilddev> warlord: how does that look?
01:11:57 <warlord> I was thinking about hte warning, too..
01:12:01 <warlord> * looks *
01:12:44 <warlord> Much better, thanks.
01:13:02 <Wilddev> ok kewl
01:25:21 <warlord> now if only I could figure out why my new AMD system isn't working at all.. (probably a bad mobo)

06:14:21 <simo1> I'm trying to select multiple transactions at once to delete them
06:14:30 <simo1> is there any way to do this ?
06:15:01 <simo1> the standard shortcuts etc. (Ctrl-A, shift-select, ...) don't seem to work
06:15:22 <simo1> I'd rather not delete them one by one

16:18:03 *** Demitar has joined #gnucash
16:19:27 <bx2> sorry, "so that i can set my preferences as the default"
16:26:00 <warlord> bx2: you can leave your invoice report open and re-use it.. or you can "save" the settings and then reuse it. But no, there's no way to set the defaults for what happens whne you click the 'print' button from the invoice window.
16:27:30 <bx2> Leaving it open i assume means not posting? How do you save the settings?
16:28:30 <warlord> No, leaving it open means not closing the report.
16:29:26 <bx2> Is anyone working on building out the invoicing alittle more so we have some flexibility, it would really be a way to leap ahead of the rest of the wincrap out there? Thanks

16:39:32 <administrator> hello to all
16:39:32 <gncbot> administrator: Sent 22 hours and 20 minutes ago: <hampton> I built gnucash within anjuta. I ran the resulting gnucash from the command line.
16:39:33 <administrator> nice to see you all again :-)

16:42:13 <administrator> warlord: i just try with trentg (a powerfull hacker from anjuta) to import gnucash in anjuta.
16:42:14 <administrator> We descovered in one of the make files of gnucash a syntax error that couse anjuta to end the import process with this error here
16:42:16 <administrator> Failed to load project /home/administrator/development/gnucash-2.1.2:
16:42:18 <administrator> Fehlerhaftes Projekt /home/administrator/development/gnucash-2.1.2/lib/libqof/qof/Makefile.am:101: Incorrect indentation
16:42:19 <administrator> <administrator> the error message for 2.0.5 was
16:42:21 <administrator> Failed to load project /home/administrator/development/gnucash-2.0.5:
16:42:22 <administrator> Fehlerhaftes Projekt /home/administrator/development/gnucash-2.0.5/lib/libqof/qof/Makefile.am:94: Incorrect indentation
16:44:17 <administrator> in the testbuild trentg has allready removed a syntax error in the make file.
16:44:19 <administrator> From his side the problem was the following
16:44:20 <administrator> "it should be a single tab to begin the line, there are spaces in there now"

16:55:15 <warlord> Ahh, I see.. Line 100.
16:55:52 <warlord> I've fixed that in SVN (or I will have fixed it in a minute once this gets committed)
16:57:17 <warlord> administrator: okay, pull down current SVN and try again

16:58:45 <administrator> thanks warlord you are great.
16:58:47 <administrator> now the next problem is comming "Malformed project" this will be a litlle harder.
16:58:49 <administrator> It looks like gnome-build has a lot of problems understanding gnucash
17:00:40 <warlord> What's "gnome-build"?
17:01:52 <administrator> http://www.gnome.org/projects/devtools/gnomebuild.shtml
17:03:03 <administrator> gnome-build is the package that import projects in or better to anjuta from different projects
17:04:53 <warlord> Oh. Ok.
